School....

This week of school has simply been horrible for me. There has been much vigorous training this week as it is the competition week. Therefore, I could not cope with my work and have been scolded by teachers lately. In addition, I still have to go for National training and have to meet the requirements of training 5 times a week! Well, there are still 3 more days to this week and hopefully I can get past this hurdle without getting scolded that much.

Badminton Tournaments

I am really happy as the team made it into the top 8 of the national school tournament. Our next match will be on this Thursday and we will be challenging ACS(I), a really strong team. We managed to qualify due to winning Anglican High(4-1) and Canberra Secondary(5-0). I won my matches rather comfortably during these matches. Unfortunately, against Boon Lay Secondary, which we lost (4-1), I lost to a China player which they imported. It was really close and it went down the wire only for me making two careless mistakes which gave the game away. Hopefully, I will win my match against ACS(I) and carry my team forward to the top 4.

Enrichment Day

Last Thursday, we had enrichment day. It was new for me as this was the first year I had such a programme and I found it really fun. I thought it was very fun making a rocket using materials such as a 1.5L bottle, tape and many more. The part that I enjoyed the most was the shooting of the rocket. It was sad for me and my partner as we only shot once. He accidentally pumped too much and the instructor thought we were fooling around and did not allow us to shoot. Thankfully, we managed to shoot the second time. I got soaked with water but the rocket went really high and far. However, I had a badminton tournament that day and had to leave early....
